autumn approaches

abc 014The weather  has been wet this summer and so there is a second wind blooming in my rose garden…that is not usually the case here in the arid climate of Upper Peninsula Michigan.

The Curtis Art Show was literally a “wash” .  I did not set up as did not many other artists.  Rather disappointing.  The good outcome was a new found energy for redoing my studio with paint and  needed face lift.  I had framed new work and made some fun large poster size prints to take to the show so the gallery will be a fun place to see with the larger than life bird prints.

I will be opening again September20th and from then on have hours when the sign is out and by appt. as usual.

Sandhill cranes are dancing in the fields near my cottage as they stage up for autumn departure.

Hope your days are somehow adorned with beauty of the natural world during this changing of the seasons.

my best…Diana
